Juggling
I
was taught to juggle three balls (well, potatoes actually)
many years
ago. Ever
since then I have been a juggling enthusiast (many would say
‘bore’). I went on to learn many tricks to do with three
balls, to
juggle (and even pass) clubs and then even firesticks (which
are REALLY
just
clubs with the end that you never catch on fire – or at least
that’s true but it certainly doesn’t feel like that when
you
are
doing it).
- simply KNOWING when
something is right (or not)
- having
to ‘let
go’ of consciously trying to do something to be able to do
it
- trusting
your own body
(and brain’s) ‘autopilot’ to do things that, when you
try to
think about them consciously, simply can’t be done
- realising
that, when you
decide to learn something , when you can do it, it is
simply the
start of
learning about it – something you simply couldn’t have
known unless
you had learned it to start with
