Resources
for Foundation Year in Computing Students
Welcome to a
resource page for information that may be helpful if you in
your Foundation Year.
This admittedly
terrible website has been cobbled together to put the
information that I can never find on the school and\or
university website, all in one place (so that at least I can
find it).
Please click on the relevant links to access this information.

Tutorial
Groups
When I find out I know how
many of you are enrolled on the award and what your names
are, I will ensure that you know which tutorial group you
are in because this makes a difference to when your classes
are timetabled where and with which tutor.
In the first instance, everyone whose surname begins with a letter that falls between A and M inclusive is in group 2 and everyone whose surname begins with the letter N to Z inclusive is in group 1.
If you do not like your allocated group's timetable please talk to me and it may be possible for you to transfer groups but if, and only if, you can find someone who is prepared to transfer to the other group in your stead.
It really helps when you attend
the right classes on your timetables.
